Auman D is the medium-duty platform of the Auman family, built by Beijing FOTON Daimler Automotive (BFDA), the joint venture of Foton Motor and Daimler AG. A 4×2 chassis rated to 18 t GVW, with Cummins engines and ZF gearboxes, it is made for regional distribution, box bodies, reefers and municipal equipment. Foton positions its medium and heavy trucks as "money-making machines": product, service and financing all work towards the owner's return.
